May, we are already heading for the destination high-spirited, to have an
outing in Zhejiang province. |
| 1st May, the Eight
Diagrams Village & Lanxi Liudong Mountain |
| Our first arrival is the
Eight DiagramsVillage in Lanxi city, which is said that it is founded by the
27th Great Zhuge(year1280) because of the unique landform, buying the land from
Wang’s family with lots of money and finally founding the village according to
the Eight Diagrams principle created by his ancestor Zhuge Liang, where the
descendants live and formed to a big village with distinct architecture and
almost 4000 dwellers as the biggest inhabited area of Zhege’s Family. |
| With the Zhongchi Lake as the
core, the whole village radiating eight lanes forming the inner Eight Diagrams,
which echoes the outer Eight Diagrams forming by eight hills.

| It is said that, this village
is exempted from the Second Sino-Japanese War for its unique surrounding, and
there are even 200 relics of Ming & Qing Dynasty. |
